How to pair my Chunghop universal aircon remote
This Replacement air conditioning AC remote has Automatic Setup and Power database to cover 1000 codes for almost all brands. It includes timer and clock functions.
Setting of the remote control
Method A - Brand search
- Manually plug in the air conditioner, aim the remote control at the receiving window of the air conditioner
- Press the key that corresponds to your brand and hold until the air conditioner is started by giving out a sound signal. Release the key and the setting is complete
Method B - Manually input code
- Manually plug in the air conditioner, find the brand in the Code table and find the first code
- Hold the SET button (for about 3 seconds) until the air conditioner type code flickers in the window. Press Temperature Up or Down buttons until the desired code flickers in the window. When the code is right the air conditioner will start
- Press OK button and the selected code will stop flickering
- Test whether the remote control has been effectively set. If yes, setting complete. If no, repeat steps 2 and 3
Method C - Automatic search type
- Manually plug in the air conditioner, aim the remote control at the receiving window of the air conditioner
- Hold SET button (for about 6 seconds) until the type code changes in the window, indicating you have entered the high-speed search status. Hold your finger over the OK button and as soon as the unit turns on Press OK
- Test whether the functions of the remote control buttons are correct. If yes the code has been effectively set. If not, press the set button to continue to search
To change the remote from Celcius to Fahrenheit or vice versa simply hold the OK button down .
