How to set up my Bench top water filter

If you have recently purchased one of our Bench top water filters or are interested in purchasing one but you are concerned about how to set up the unit, have no worries we have you covered.

1. Firstly unbox your new bench top unit and make sure you clean all the plastic parts with warm water and dishwashing liquid.
2. Remove the 3 different filters from the boxes and place them in a bucket or sink to soak overnight.
3. Once you are ready to assemble the unit start by placing the base on a flat surface and place the large bottom tank on top.
4. Make sure you attach the tap to the bottom tank ensuring to have 1 seal on the inside and 1 seal on the outside of the tank to stop any leaks around the tap.
5. Place the flat stone mineral filter in the middle of the bottom tank.
6. Then take the 5 stage cartridge filter and screw it into the white divider placing the divider on top of the bottom tank.
7. Attach the ceramic dome filter the top tank and secure it in place with the screw.
8. Place the top tank in position on top of the divider and fill the top tank.
9. Check for any leaks.
- if the tank is leaking out of the side you need to soak the ceramic filter for longer
- If the water is rushing through the ceramic filter remove the filter and check it is screwed into place securely and not letting any water escape underneath.
- If the is a leak around the tap, make sure you have installed both seals as above and that they are sitting flush with the tank.
