Not only do salt lamps work as an alternative to a night light or decorative lamp in any room in your house they also offer many benefits to your overall wellbeing such as assisting to purify the air and boost mood to name a few.
How long should I lave my lamp on for?
For the best results from the lamp you should try to leave it on as much as possible, this will help prevent "sweating"
Why is my salt lamp leaking?
Please don't worry your lamp isn't leaking, it's sweating which is completely normal for salt to do however this can be greatly reduced by leaking the salt lamp on for long periods of time. Sweating usually occurs when the lamp has not been used for a period of time.
Does the salt rocks come with my basket/bowl?
Yes, when you purchase our Salt lamp baskets they come with the rocks included.
My cord wont turn on.
Please have no worries we are more than happy to help. There can be a little trick to our new cords as a safety feature the bulb needs to be screwed all the way down into the socket for it to turn on. If you need further help please have a look at our video for inserting the bulb.
How you install the switch into the lamp?
Have no worries we have created a video to easily explain how to install your switch into your new lamp. The bulb sits inside the hole underneath with the metal clips to hold the bulb in place and avoid the bulb touching the salt directly. The cord sits within the grove on the base and plugs into your powerpoint.
What is the difference between the Dimmer and On/Off?
Both cords are effective and it is purely up to your choice whichever you would prefer. The dimmer allows you to have the light on and adjust the brightness as well as being able to switch it off entirely from the cord. The On/Off will only allow you to have the light either on or off.
Why does my lamp look different to the photo?
Our Himalayan Salt Lamps are cut from naturally formed rocks and will vary in colour and shape. This is one of the unique features about the lamps. All lamps will have natural cracks and lines in the salt as well and natural crack lines which won't affect the use of your lamp.
We recommend you place a mat, plate, or anything under your salt lamp to protect your furniture. This is because over time, the salt will naturally absorb moisture from the air which might result in the salt lamp “sweating” from the outside.
